The Catalan GP did take place as the recent Moto2 round. It all happened at the circuit near Barcelona. Local boy Alex Márquez started from pole position. Italians Mattia Pasini and Lorenzo Baldassarri completed him in the front row.
Another Moto3 race of the season did take place in Barcelona. Jorge Martín started from pole position to his home race. Juanfran Guevara and Romano Fenati completed the front row.
The Italian round of the MotoGP World Championship did take place in Mugello. Maverick Viñales started from pole position, his team mate Valentino Rossi was second and Andrea Dovizioso was third.
